vellum Kiosk - User Guide

Summary

The purpose of vellum Kiosk is for onboarding users to become acclimated to checking in and sharing check-ins with their teammates in an anonymous fashion. Nursing units or organizational departments are able to configure their respective Kiosk view leveraging the specific unit access code provided by vellum. Configuration

vellum Kiosk is designed for use via a desktop or iPad and is a browser-based solution.

Sign In
Units (or departments) sign in to the Kiosk URL via desktop or iPad using the unit-specific access code.
Sign OutTo sign out, click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner. No automatic time out threshold has been set.
Kiosk ScrollingSimilar to an airport kiosk, each individual Kiosk has the capability to scroll automatically allowing viewers to see a comprehensive list of check-ins without needing to manually scroll. To allow scroll, click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner and move the "Scroll check-ins" slider. 
Conducting a Check-inIndividuals can check-in using touch on the iPad or a mouse via desktop. Users simply navigate to their feeling and validate their selection. If desired, users can add their name or leave check-in anonymous. Once validated, the feeling selected populates the Kiosk team list.
Resources Individuals are able to access resources with high intensity sub-optimal emotions. Similar to the mobile application, a resource link (noted by a book emoji) displays next to the sub-optimal check-in.
Check-in Visibility
Kiosk check-ins populate the Kiosk team list as well as the "My Team" view within the mobile application for the respective team. The check-ins, unless name is entered by the user, are tethered to the unit name and not an individual. Similarly, check-ins shared to the team via the mobile application from a user account populate the Kiosk team list with no name identifier.
Deleting a Kiosk Check-inCheck-ins saved via the Kiosk view are not able to be deleted at this time. This is to prevent a user from inadvertently deleting a teammates check-in.
Reacting to a Kiosk Check-inReactions (love, celebrate, support) are not available on check-ins made from the Kiosk view. Kiosk check-ins will also not have a reaction emoji or connection icon visible/available in the mobile app.
Mobile App

vellum encourages users who are comfortable and/or desire greater functionality to use their individual user account via the vellum mobile app.

Kiosk Workflow
vellum encourages units to identify a stationary workstation able to display the Kiosk view at all times. Further, vellum encourages team member check-in via the iPad during shift huddles.
AnalyticsAll Kiosk check-ins populate the Leader Portal analytics - usage and emotional health.
